Both the tube mills have been manufactured in technical collaboration with Kusakabe Electric & Engineering Co., Japan and are designed to produce wide range of precision steel tubes including high tensile tubes and non-circular sections, e.g. rectangular, square, oval, elliptical etc. High frequency tube welders incorporated on both the mills ensure close and inclusion free welding of strip at high speed after it is formed to precisely controlled circular shape in the forming/Fin pass mills preceding the welding station.

Cutting of mill length tubes takes place through computer controlled flying cut-off system which results in precise mill lengths at high speeds.

Tube Re-Cutting Section
Mill lengths are re-cut to precise small lengths as per customer's requirement. Imported automatic machines ensure close length tolerance with perfectly square ends. Cut tubes face, OD and ID are chamfered resulting in burr free ends.

Mill lengths can be supplied with 1/1000 straightness to customers requiring very straight tubes.

Slitting Section
ATLAS has in house slitting facility where coils up to 1600 mm width and 4.00 mm thickness are slitted to very precise width tolerance and are burr free.
